WCS Series Classes

Series classes are offered in West Coast Swing and consist of 6 hours of instructional time, over the course of 3 weeks.* Anyone new to West Coast Swing should start with Beginning West Coast Swing. After mastering the beginning steps, you will be able to take any of the following (these classes can be taken in any order):

  •  6 Count Variations
  • Tuck Turns
  • Whips

Those who have mastered the content of all of the above will be ready to take Intermediate West Coast Swing: Lead & Follow Variations.

* Because the content in a series class builds from week to week, we ask that if you are unable to attend the first session to please join us when the class is offered again. This does not apply to retakes. The retake rate is $25 for this popular option. You must have the voucher in hand on the first night of class!

Classes progress – no new students admitted after first week unless retakes.

  • No Partner Needed
  • Pre-register here or come early to register
  • Use clean dry shoes (change shoes once you are inside).
  • 6 student minimum

“Retake Vouchers” Defined

When you take one of the West Coast Swing series classes, you get a “Retake Voucher” that can be used later to take that SAME class again, for up to a year, at a greatly reduced price. And when you take that class again using a “Retake Voucher” you get a new “Retake Voucher” that can be used to take that SAME class again at the reduced price for up to a year….

Beyond Classes

(Previously “Specialty Classes”)

Beyond classes are for dance instruction that is outside the Rebels standard West Coast Swing instruction series. They may be other dance types or a unique West Coast Swing class. They are held occasionally on the 4th Sunday of the month. No Beyond Classes are currently scheduled.
