KP Rutland and Bryn Anderson

KP and Bryn began as Rising Star routine partners in 2017 and have since become one of the top Classic routine couples, placing in the top 3 in 2023 at the Open Swing Dance Championships. They travel internationally to teach, judge, and perform and are currently exploring a style of West Coast Swing that fuses WCS foundations with hip hop. KP and Bryn have rich and diverse dance backgrounds. 

KP grew up dancing solo hip hop and began partner dancing in 2011. After sampling many different styles of dancing, such as DFW swingout (Dallas-Fort Worth), salsa, bachata, kizomba, zydeco, he finally fell in love with West Coast Swing in 2015. Bryn began West Coast Swing at age 5 and competed throughout her teens. She has supplemented her west coast with ballet, jazz, contemporary, and international Latin.
